About Women’s International Football
Introducing Women’s International Football – independent writing for the women’s game.
This is a website to help introduce people to the women’s game – especially fans of the men’s game – and to share experiences from watching the game both live in stadiums across the world and from home and on TV. The focus is on international football reflecting my interest in the game.
About Me
My name is Rahul and I first got into Women’s Football in 2023 watching my national Team and reigning European Champions – reach the Final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. From them on, I started getting into the game more from watching the England Women’s Under 17 Team play amazingly well in the UEFA European Championship and the FIFA Women’s Under 17 World Cup in 2027.
I then started following my local women’s team – the London Bees in 2024 before also choosing Bayern Munich Women’s Team in 2025 before looking forward to following the London City Lionesses and Alexia Putellas in 2026.
My favourite players are Giulia Gwinn (Germany), Alessia Russo of England plus Sakina Karchoui of France amongst others.
Aims of the Website
In this website – completely written, edited and supported by humans – no AI for the writing – we will explore the world of women’s football and give you insights into different players, leagues, games and tournaments as well as some trends occurring. I was a huge fan of men’s football and have completely switched to the women’s game – although I do still watch some men’s games during the major tournaments and highlights on YouTube.
I hope to share with you some unique content – most content already assumes you know the women’s game and who is involved. As someone relatively new to the game, I hope to be able to introduce you to the game as well as share unique perspectives, experiences and more. From non-League English football to Google Pixel Frauen Bundesliga games and more.
